Updates on Our Little Princess

Our little princess is really growing like a weed now. She is officially 6 months, and now is 7.8kg and 74cm tall, with a head circumference of 40cm.

I get a lot of comments about how big/healthy/cute my little princes is, and comparing her with babies her age, she seemed to be the giant of them. In fact, there have been situations where she is actually pretty much the same size of someone else's baby who's a year old, proven so when we went for my hubby's colleague's daughter's 1st birthday, and apparently she's pretty much the same size, maybe a bit bigger, than the birthday girl. I impressed another parent so much when I told them she was only 6 months old that he borrowed her to show her off to his wife and family. LOL

My hubby half-joked that the reason why our little princess is so big is because she's well-fed with breast milk, so what the heck kind of breast milk do I have? Kryptonite? XD Though according to the doctor, her size is considered normal and average, so it got me thinking: Are Brunei babies that small?

Here's a bit of photo recap of my little princess:

Month 1 - 3
Month 4 - 6
Totally look forward to her 1st birthday! You're halfway there, my little princess~ ^_^

Spirit of Budo Exhibition

Finally managed to get internet, so I shall update most of what has been going on with my life.

A few months ago, my buddy was really enthusiastic to get me to join him to go on some exhibition in the Brunei Museum. While Brunei Museum usually don't have much to offer, this time they have Japan exhibits in hand, and we definitely don't wanna miss out anything new and Japan.

Overall view

Billboard display of historical facts

Le swords/katana

Ancient old-school weapons, including the fabled iron fans LOL

Bow and arrows and its gears

Kendo gears

Training gears for kendo athletes

Samurai armour

Various war helmets

Random shots of the interior of the museum

It's a pretty awesome display, with swords/katanas and stuff, mostly recognized from the old-school black and white Japanese movies I've watched with my hubby like Seven Samurai, Yojimbo and Rashomon. We got a free guide book about the Spirit of Budo and seeing all these interesting weapons and gears were an eye-opener. Was hoping for a bigger display, maybe big stuff like they would display in the ICC, but this is pretty cool on its own.

After satisfying our curiosity, we went outside for a stroll, and randomly took pictures of the outside, something new that we hadn't seen yet

Cannons? We have cannons in Brunei? LOL

Some weird monument, not sure what sort
Neways, that's how our day went before we ended our usual lunch date and I return to the shop, and back to our usual mundane routine of life, LOL

Hopefully they will have bigger, more elaborate displays like these, preferably Japan again.
