The Death of a King...

I just found out from a Deviant Art friend of mine. It was shocking to me too and I looked through the web to find out if this were true.

It was.

Our King of Pop, Michael Jackson, died at the age of 50 just yesterday.

You can go online and just type the King's name and his death would be everywhere, regardless in MSN, Google or Yahoo. It's all there.

Apparently reports say he was suddenly rushed to the UCLA Hospital for full cardiac arrest after they responded to a 911 call from his home in Beverly Hills. CPR was done to him in the ambulance on the way, and they seemed to manage to revive him, but he slipped into a deep coma and was pronounced dead moments later.

It's kinda pity because he was so looking forward to his comeback curtain call tour and everyone was looking forward to his tour that people literally line for weeks or maybe months at end to purchase his tickets. He had been training so hard yet this happened.

They said his death was a phenomenal loss, almost par with the death of Kennedy, Elvis and John Lennon.

I do feel a certain loss, if not heartbreaking, over MJ's death. I mean, I may not be like a super uber crazy fan of him, but I did grow up with his music and quite a number of his songs are like inspirations to me, and I do feel that certain grief and shock over this.

50 years old at the time of his death. So young. He's still got a few good decades ahead and he was so into pleasing his fans again like he used to, but he never got the chance.

We will miss you, MJ. RIP, our dear King of Pop.
